Carew Castle Tenby

It's easy to miss Carew Castle as it's not run by a big organisation such as the National Trust and so does not feature in many tourist brochures. But it's worth a visit if you like castles. There's just enough to climb up and explore to make it interesting and the setting beside the river makes it an ideal spot for a picnic. |next attraction|

The entrance fee also gets you entry to the tide mill - one of only four in the UK. Drive across the river and park in the car park (the one you can see from the castle) and it's then a lovely stroll to the mill across the tidal barrage. |map|  |more places to visit|
