Carmarthen Museum

Carmarthen Museum is worth a visit. Located in Abergwili, a mile or so east of Carmarthen, it tells the story of Carmarthen and the surrounding area from pre-historic times through the Roman occupation and their establishment of Moridunum. |next attraction|

Carmarthen Museum

The ebb and flow of English and Welsh dominance over the area up to the present day is illustrated with displays and exhibits. Upstairs there's a chapel with a fine barrelled ceiling dating from when the building was the the Bishop of St David's palace. The museum is a lot better than the rather drab exterior might suggest. |map|  |more things to do|
