Laugharne Castle

While you're in Laugharne visiting Dylan Thomas' Boathouse have a look round the castle. There isn't a lot left, but there is one bit you can go inside and climb up. Display panels give the history of the castle and information about its rescue in the 1970s. |next attraction|

Laugharne Castle

Richard Hughes, who wrote A High Wind in Jamaica, used to write in the summerhouse in the castle grounds. Much of the castle was destroyed by bombardment from Cromwell's army - that man has a lot to answer for. Visit Pembroke Castle if you like your castles warren-like. |map|  |more things to do|
