Laugharne CastleWhile you're in Laugharne visiting
Dylan Thomas' Boathouse have a look round the castle.
There isn't a lot left, but there is one bit you can go inside and climb up.
Display panels give the history of the castle and information about its rescue in the 1970s.

Richard Hughes, who wrote A High Wind in Jamaica, used to write in the summerhouse in the castle grounds.
Much of the castle was destroyed by bombardment from Cromwell's army - that man has a lot to answer for.
Visit Pembroke Castle if you like your castles warren-like.
