Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway

The Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway is the ultimate in eco-friendly transport - it's water powered. The car at the top has its water tank filled, the car at the bottom discharges some water, the brakes are released and off they go. |next attraction|

Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway

The beach isn't the reason you'd make the trip down the cliff - it's covered in slate-grey rubble - but the little town of Lynmouth is nice to stroll around. Great place for serious walkers too: to the west there's the Valley of Rocks and to the east is Watersmeet where you can walk for miles up the gorgeous wooded river valley. |map|  |more things to do|
