Mary Rose Museum

It's amazing what survived for 400 years in the silt of the Solent: wooden plates, cannon, longbows, clothes, surgical instruments (not for the squeamish). The contents of the ship provide an insight into the lives of ordinary people in Tudor times. There's also a film that tells the story of the ship. |map|  |more things to do|
