New Forest Centre

The New Forest Centre is worth popping in to if you're in Lyndhurst. There's interesting information on the history of the Forest, its flora, fauna, geology and people - including one Brusher Mills - a snake catcher who would cook adders and use their clarified fat (i.e. snake oil) as a cure for rheumatism. |next attraction|

The New Forest Centre also houses the Tourist Information Centre - loads of leaflets to browse many of which contain money off vouchers and coupons.
