There are roads on two sides of the gardens with consequent background traffic noise in some areas. There's a pleasant tea room up by "magnolia avenue" as well as a rather more industrial cafe in the entrance building. Plenty of secluded benches for picnics etc. |map|  |more day trip things to do|
