This 17th century house was rebuilt in 1901 after a fire and consequently boast mod cons such as a lift. Only the downstairs rooms and the interesting servant's quarters in the basement are open to the public. |nearby attraction|

The grounds are laid to grass so there are no ornamental gardens to explore but there are miles of parkland walks.
