Volks Electric RailwayVolk's Electric Railway starts near Brighton's
Palace Pier
and runs to Black Rock, close to Brighton Marina. Trains run every 15 minutes.
There's a stop halfway called Halfway Station which has a cafe and mini golf nearby.

The railway was opened in 1883 and much of the rolling stock dates from that era.
It is a testament to Victorian engineering that it is still in fine working order today.
There's a wealth of interesting historical pictures on the Volk's Railway website.
