West Dean GardensThe pretty gardens run along a little river (the Lavant) and include an impressive pergola, walled gardens
and Victorian glasshouses. There's also a two mile walk through parkland and an arboretum.

The gardens surround West Dean College - which offers courses in just about everything except agriculture. The college
is not open to the public.
Nice gardens but you probably need to be a plant person or like long walks to get full value out of the entrance fee.
