Forde Abbey
Some of the rooms in Forde Abbey, such as the monks' dormitory, are much as they were when it was a monastery.
But most of the interiors date from 1649 when, after 100 years uninhabited, the abbey was converted into a grand
private residence.

Outdoors there's a bog garden, rock garden, kitchen garden and a spectacular fountain that just about reaches
tree-top height.
