Somerset Canal Museum & Dundas AqueductA few miles south of Bath on the A36 there's a turn to Limpley Stoke and a sign saying Canal Museum.
The museum is actually a small room with story boards on the walls giving the history of the Somerset Coal Canal
and of the extraordinary submarine lock they built.

There is a pleasant canal-side cafe and a very nice walk along the canal moorings to the scenic
Dundas Aqueduct which carries the canal over the river Avon.
