Titchfield AbbeyHenry VIII granted this ex-abbey to ace monastery-suppressor Thomas Wriothesley in 1537.
The Tudor facade is grand, but there isn't a lot behind it - a few ruined rooms, some floor tiles and the
outline of where the walls used to be.

So unless you have a particular interest in ex-abbeys it's probably not worth a long journey to see Titchfield Abbey.
But if you're nearby pop in for a look round - it's free. You can drive into the grounds but the narrow entrance is easy
to miss. If the abbey doors are closed there are ways in on both sides.
