You will enjoy the Dartmoor Prison Museum if you enjoy reading, for there is much to read and it is fascinating.
If you don't like reading you may not find the museum so interesting.
The people who run the museum are knowledgeable and give an interesting talk about the prison.

The museum tells the story of the prison from its (shoddy!) building right through to the present day. There are
tales of riots, escapes and famous inmates. There's a display of weapons made by inmates as well as a mock up of a cell.
Ouside you get a good view of the prison itself. The prison is due to close by 2020 so don't delay your visit too long.
