Dinefwr Castle and Park

At Dinefwr there's a ruined castle, a fine country mansion called Newton House - which the family built in 1664 when they moved out of the castle - and a large deer park. Displays tell the story of Dinefwr's history and an entertaining video tells the story of life in the house from the servants' point of view. |next attraction|

Dinefwr Castle

If you can't quite place the etherially beautiful piece of Mozart playing upstairs you're not alone: it's not Mozart. It's Josef Mysliveček who was a close friend of Mozart and musical influence on him. Nice walk up from the house to the castle. Entry is free to National Trust members. |map|  |more places to visit|
