Swindon Steam Museum

In its heyday the GWR works in Swindon covered 323 acres. The site now houses a factory outlet retail park and the Railway Museum which tells the story of locomotive manufacturing. The museum isn't on the scale of York or Didcot but it is well worth a visit. |next attraction|
