Tintagel Old Post OfficeTintagel Old Post Office was built as a private house in the 14th century. For a while in the 19th century
it was a letter receiving station - hence the name. It is worth a look if you're at all interested in how people lived,
and how houses were modernised, over the past 6 centuries.

There's no
National Trust
cafe, but two doors down is the very reasonably priced Village Tea Room.
The slightly eccentric waitress is a delight and the most efficient waitress you'll find anywhere.
