Torre AbbeyTorre Abbey was founded in 1196 and after being dissolved by Henry VIII was converted into a house.
Later it was further developed such that from some angles you'd never guess its age.

The recently restored basement is unashamedly abbey - including traces of original paint -
while the upper floors constitute a fine Georgian house with fine art and carvings to match.
In the garden there's a palm house and a greenhouse with some impressive cacti.
